- Breakup Breakout: Belinda Carlisle started a very successful solo career after the band broke up. Jane Wiedlin was also successful to a lesser extent.
- He Also Did: Charlotte Caffey and Jane Wiedlin co-wrote Keith Urban's first #1 hit, "But for the Grace of God".
- The Pete Best: Margot Olavarria and Elissa Bello. Though Margot at least was in the band during its fame long enough to feature in Urgh! A Music War (even though the film has a copyright date of 1981, it appears the concert that the movie used for the Go-Gos sequence was from before Kathy Valentine joined).
- What Could Have Been: There's several songs from their punk days that weren't on any studio album (Fashion Seekers, Blades, etc.) Another song featured at concerts (London Boys) was only featured on the Return to the Valley compilation.
