• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Before the Network 7 revival could begin, Craig McLachlan was fired following allegations of sexual misconduct. An attempt was made to retool the show without him, but this made it no further than a single telemovie.
• The Danza: Charlie Cousins as Senior Constable Charlie Davis.
• Un-Canceled: Reversed. After the ABC ended the series, Channel 7 snatched it up. McLachlan was fired before the new series could begin. An attempt at a format change was made, with plans being drawn for four telemovies, with Nadine Garner's character promoted to the lead role. After the first film aired, the rest of the films were quietly dropped due to low ratings.
