• Career Resurrection: Downplayed. Anette had fairly regular guest work after her sudden dismissal from Nightwish, and her solo debut Shine made it to #59 on the Swedish charts, but work was slow enough that she went to nursing school to ensure she'd have a backup career. Then Frontiers Records recruited her to sing vocals for The Dark Element (Jani Liimatainen had previously agreed to write and play the music, but asked them to find him a lead vocalist rather than do it himself).
