  • Rob Zombie was originally slated to write, direct, and supervise the music for this movie, but was fired because of creative differences with the producer. Zombie's song "Living Dead Girl" was still used for the film. He had managed to sign Christopher Lee and Patricia Quinn for roles.
  • Alex de la Iglesia turned down directing this film.
