• What Could Have Been:
  • The Sherman Brothers composed a complete set of songs for a projected musical adaptation of The 13 Clocks; unfortunately, it was canceled before ever getting out of Development Hell.
  • Jim Henson was a fan of the story and wanted to produce an adaptation as a Tales from Muppetland special, but it never went beyond a mention in a notebook alongside other stories he was considering for adaptations.
