Trivia / Tales of Crestoria

Go To

  • Invisible Advertising: The manga adaptation of the game, despite being announced around the game's announcement of shut-down, not only received very little updates as to when it would come out, it was released without any advertisement.
  • No Export for You: The game's follow up manga, meant to finish the game's story, was only released in Japan.
  • Screwed by the Network: Despite taking a number of steps to avoid the mistakes Tales Of The Rays made, the game ended up this way. Due to a rocky first year as a result of bugs and glitches seemingly brought about by being told to release the game before they could be fixed, the game gained a somewhat infamous reputation even though it had fixed a majority of those issues by its first anniversary. This seems to be the basis for why Tales of Luminaria was made, causing Crestoria to be thrown aside to focus on the new title, at least until even Luminaria was shut down not even a year later.
  • What Could Have Been: With the game ending before the story was completed, and the manga adaptation removing the previous Tales of characters, the various plotlines involving them ended up unresolved. For example: Whatever Yuri's role was meant to be will not be resolved.
