- Colbert Bump: Cocyx's Afraid of Monsters port was quite infamous from 2008 to 2010, but it utterly exploded into fame in 2011 thanks to Spike and Barley Play's playthrough of it. Unfortunately, this fame explosion actually led to the server's permanent shut-down.
- Rereleased for Free: The mod itself remains free, but the Steam release has the entire original Half-Life campaign, free of charge.
- Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things:
- Cocyx, creator of the AoM port and host of David Leatherhoff himself, permanently shut down his servers after they were flooded with clueless newcomers endlessly demanding him to play as David, thanks to the Spike and Barley Play playthrough.
- History repeated itself with Zorbos's server (only partially, thankfully), as the David element was again discontinued for the same reason, although the servers and content are here to stay.
