  • Adored by the Network: Despite the game having miserable sales when it released, Wisdom Tree knows that it's their most well-known game. Not only was it completely remastered for Steam using the ECWolf source port, but reproduction cartridges of the original SNES version are still for sale on their website.
  • Pop-Culture Urban Legends: No, the game was not made in response to Nintendo forcing id Software to censor most of the violence and Nazi imagery in the SNES port of Wolfenstein 3-D. The only involvement iD had in this game was them licensing the Wolfenstein engine to Wisdom Tree for a pretty good price.
  • What Could Have Been: The game was originally going to be a licensed game based off of Hellraiser for the NES, but several issues prevented this from happening.
    • Wisdom Tree was afraid that their audience of Christian bookstore shoppers wouldn't be happy that they were dealing in Satanic-themed horror games on the side, so they reworked it into a game based on Noah's Ark.
    • Originally, the game was going to ship on an NES cartridge that would have additional hardware that would increase the processing power of the NES several times over. However, inherent limitations of the NES (mostly the color palette) and the immense price of such a cartridge made them target the SNES instead.
