• Actor Allusion: Richard Woolsey mentions that Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas is closing. The actor who plays Woolsey, Robert Picardo, suggested adding these lines because he played the Doctor/EMH in both Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: The Experience.
• Throw It In!: David Hewlett forgot to remove his wedding ring for some of the scenes in this episode. The producers decided to keep those shots because it gave the impression that the McKay and Dr. Jennifer Keller of this alternate reality are married.
