• Author's Saving Throw: The Star Trek: Coda trilogy is a preemptive one by Paramount. After Star Trek: Picard launched, Paramount realized that they had pretty much negated over 15 years of novel continuity. However, unlike Disney, who promptly casted Star Wars Legends into the Canon Discontinuity bin without even a proper send-off, Coda is designed to do just that, giving the massive franchise one last hurrah before sunsetting it.
