- Mainstream Obscurity: Since this is a copy-and-paste movie of about ten different Korean anime knockoffs compiled into one film, it never saw any wide release in the West.
- No Budget: An extreme example since the anime in its entirety is made up of Stock Footage from other low budget animes.
- Shoddy Knockoff Product/Serial Numbers Filed Off: A weird example that was mandated by law. After World War II and The Korean War, South Korea out of both a spirit wanting to rebuild native Korean culture and out of some understandable fury at the decades-long Japanese occupation, banned all Japanese media until 1998. However, thanks to bootlegs and word-of-mouth, the South Korean citizenry knew of anime and wanted it. Enterprising Korean animation houses were all too happy to make home-grown versions for their audiences. Much of the output was... well, what was seen in Space Thunder Kids.
