- B-Team Sequel: The games were developed by Dimps with Sonic Team in a supervisory role.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The games have never seen a rerelease outside of a Japan-only Virtual Console port, and it's unlikely that they'll be rereleased in the US anytime soon.
- No Export for You: The Wii U Virtual Console re-releases are Japan exclusive for legality reasons (see below).
- Screwed by the Lawyers: The reason the Advance games haven't been released on Virtual Console in the US (they are available on it in Japan) is because the Western distribution rights to all three games were owned by the now-defunct THQ, who published the games in the US. It is unclear if Sega will be able to or will bother to get those rights back in the future, though Nordic Games has acquired the THQ trademark and has become THQ Nordic.
