• Non-Singing Voice: Koko's voice switches to Cab Calloway's when he sings "St. Jame's Infirmary Blues".
• One for the Money; One for the Art: This project was Roland "Doc" Crandall's reward for his years of loyalty to the Fleischers. He was given free rein and spent six months working almost by himself to complete the short how he pleased.
