- Colbert Bump: Quite a few people were introduced to the game by Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and Tear Of Grace. Another bump happened in March 2019, when the game was free on the Epic Games store for two weeks.
- Dummied Out:
- Pure Saber Slimes are fully modelled and exist in the code, but do not spawn naturally.
- The Meteor Slime was deprecated from the game because it "wasn't working" with the theme of the Glass Desert being released in v0.6.0. However, code of the Meteor Slime exists within the game's files, hinting that it might be a type of gravity manipulator.
- What Could Have Been:
- Quantum Slimes used to have black eyes instead of light yellow, judging by their initial reveal screenshots.
- One slime that was teased since early versions was the Meteor Slime, which was supposed to arrive in the Glass Desert update (0.6.0). According to the developers, it was removed because it "Didn't work" and was replaced by two other slimes. A later Reddit post revealed that the reason it didn't work was because it added no unique mechanics—it was supposed to be a gravity manipulator, but there were already slimes that pushed (Boom Slimes with their explosions) and pulled (Dervish Slimes with their tornadoes) objects.
