  • Screwed by the Lawyers: On 5 April 2014, Sony issued a false takedown claiming they owned the film's copyrights and the video was blocked. Sintel was accidentally claimed by Sony when the company added the movie to its pool of demos for its ultra-HD televisions, but YouTube's Content ID robot mistakenly thought that Sony owned the copyrights, not the Blender Foundation.
