Trivia / Shuriken School

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Since there were only six voice actors (with one uncredited) on the series, each of them voiced multiple characters (e.g., Charlie Adler voices Vlad and Principal-Sama)
  • Children Voicing Children: Nathan Kress was 14 when he voiced the 10-year old Eizan.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices:
  • Completely Different Title: School of the Ninjas (Το Σχολείο των Νίντζα) in Greek or School of the Little Ninjas (Σχολή για Μικρούς Νίντζα) depending on which channel you saw it on.
    • In German-speaking countries, it's known as Generation Ninja.
  • Dueling Dubs: The series was dubbed in Russian twice. The first dub was called Сюрикен Скул (a transliteration of the original title) and aired on Jetix. The second dub was titled Школа Сюрикен. It was produced by SDI Media Russia (now known as Iyuno Russia) and aired on Gulli.
  • Screwed by the Network: Nickelodeon pulled the series 6 episodes in.
  • Short Run in Peru: The French dub of the series premiered before the original English version. Justified, since the series was produced in France.
  • The Other Darrin: In the first 4 episodes Marcos is voiced by Nathan Kress, then episode 5 onwards Kimberly Brooks took over. Oddly, Nathan continued to be part of the cast for the series, so why he was replaced is unknown.
