  • Acting for Two:
    • Frank Welker, as usual, voices Fred. However, he also takes over as the voice of Scooby-Doo for the first time.
    • Phil LaMarr voices Daniel Illiwara and King.
    • Jeff Bennett plays Jasper Ridgeway, Jack and one of the Bondi Beach lifeguards.
    • Malcolm Illiwara, the Yowie Yahoo and the crocodile are all voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
    • Jennifer Hale voices Thorn and Queen.
    • Michael Neill voices Russell/Dark Skull and Matt Marvelous.
    • Harry/Stormy Weathers and Barry/Lightning Strikes are voiced by Tom Kenny.
  • The Cast Showoff: The whole gang as "The Meddling Kids" (their stage name as they won the rock contest), but most notably Velma, who sings the "Scooby Doo, Where Are You!" theme.
  • Fake Australian: Michael Neill (Russell/Dark Skull and Matt Marvelous) is British, and Tom Kenny (Harry/Stormy Weathers and Barry/Lightning Strikes), Kevin Michael Richardson (Malcolm Illiwara), Jeff Bennett (Jasper Ridgeway and Jack), and Phil LaMarr (Daniel Illiwara and King) are Americans.
  • Non-Singing Voice:
    • While Velma's speaking voice was by Nicole Jaffe, her singing voice during the rock concert was provided by Krystal Harris.
    • As for Shaggy, his singing was provided by Matt Danner. This was Danner's professional voice acting debut.
  • The Original Darrin: Heather North and Nicole Jaffe returned to voice Daphne and Velma for this film and Monster of Mexico.
  • Role Reprise:
    • Casey Kasem went back to voicing Shaggy for the rest of the Scooby-Doo direct-to-video series until the thirteenth installment and both Heather North and Nicole Jaffe reprised their roles of Daphne and Velma, respectively. Fred and Scooby still have the same voice actor.
    • The Hex Girls return, with Jennifer Hale, Kimberley Brooks, and Jane Wielden once again voicing Thorn, Dusk, and Luna, respectively.
  • The Shelf of Movie Languishment: Completed in 2002, not released until 2003.
