- The Danza: Crystal is voiced by Crystal Scales.
- The Other Darrin: Starting with this movie, Shaggy is voiced by Matthew Lillard. Amusingly, this doubles as a Role Reprise from the Scooby-Doo live-action movies.
- Role Reprise:
- This is the first time that Shaggy is voiced by Matthew Lillard, reprising his role from the theatrical live-action movies.
- This is one of the few Scooby-Doo animated movies (along with Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island) to have a French Canadian dub. Said dub for Abracadabra-Doo sees the return of François Godin, Aline Pinsonneault, and Julie Burroughs as Shaggy, Daphne, and Velma respectively, reprising their roles from the theatrical live-action movies. Scooby himself is voiced by François Sasseville, reprising his role from Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins.
- Swan Song: The film marked the final performance from prolific voice actor John Stephenson; he would pass away five years later.
- Write What You Know: The film was written by Paul Dini with his wife Misty Lee. Dini wrote episodes of The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries early in his career and wrote most of Zatanna's appearances in the DC Animated Universe, and Lee is a professional stage magician.
