Trivia / S4 League

  • Bad Export for You: Every single version of S4 League in existence is inferior to South Korean S4 League. Among other things, it has more reasonable prices of premium gear, better graphics, more voice acting (death screams), and it's the only version that has the Mine Gun available. Not to mention Koreans get new stuff and patches at least a month in advance compared to the rest of the world.
  • Development Hell - The North American version of S4 League, which is readying for beta testing. And has been for a couple of years now.
    • This seems to have been moved into the form of a North American channel for the, what was previously, the European version.
  • Dummied Out - There's a large amount of content (maps, weapons, weapon skins, skills) that has never been released, or has been cut in one of the patches. Curiously, all of those things do exist in the game and are fully operational (although not entirely balanced), since they can be seen in action when hackers wielding them pop up from time to time.
    • The Shockwave Gun was shortly introduced to the game in Dark Lightning season, but was later cut from the game due to complaints of player community about it being utterly useless. The developers did not bother to improve it, and instead simply removed it.
    • Subverted with content which sometimes does eventually get released after a long period of being dummied out (most notably Metallic skill, Katana or Crystal Plasma Sword, to name a few).
    • Almost all new weapons make an inversion of this trope, as they are implemented in the game a long time before their actual release, only to be used by hackers.
