• Development Hell: A sequel is supposed to be in the works which would feature a completely different set of antagonists (human soldiers, and flesh-and-blood yetis as opposed to robots, as seen in the demo), and returning familiar bosses from Dr. Mad stage 1. As of 2024, the game is in hiatus.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: With the end of Adobe Flash support on 2021, it would mean Rokko Chan and countless other games made in Flash would be lost to time, however, some fans have managed to preserve the game and it can be downloaded and played offline as an executable even after Adobe Flash support has ended.
