• Accidentally-Correct Writing: Nathaniel and Juleka both get the Goat and Tiger Miraculous respectively after completing Bustier's and Bob Roth's palaces. Come the Season 4 episodes "Crocoduel" for Juleka and "Penalteam" for Nathaniel, they both receieved them in canon.
• Outdated by Canon: The fic depicts the Goat Miraculous as granting the power of added jumping power, precluding the canon revelation that its power is “Genesis”, the ability to create anything. It applies similarly to the powers of the Miraculouses of the Ox, Tiger, Rooster, Dog, & Pig.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: DSpaceZ, one of the authors of the fic, has admitted in the comment section and author notes of his other fics that he grew annoyed with Marinette in Season 4, and that he grew to like Adrien again during the same season. The fic reflects this by going from justifying the poor treatment Adrien was receiving from her and the Phantom Thieves to deconstructing it, cumulating in the Thieves not even trying to warn Adrien about his then-murder father simply out of dislike and mistrust, causing him to VERY RIGHTFULLY call them out for it when he does find out and nearly cut ties with them, while the Thieves are forced to realize just how badly they screwed up.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: The author permanently shelved the FanFiction.Net version of the story due to excessively toxic and homophobic reviews (the author went on record that she is not homosexual, but will not tolerate the reviews posted for the story). She then handed it off to BeeTeeDubya14 (who also brought in the help of DSpaceZ and BetterOffAlone) entirely after anonymous reviewers kept throwing bile at her on Fanfiction.net, even after the discontinuation. Further becomes this trope when the team Restricted the AO3 version so that only those with an account can even read the story, as the site otherwise allows anonymous comments.
