  • Banned in China: How The Pussycat Dolls managed to be allowed to perform in Malaysia is a Riddle for the Ages. The organizers were fined, and the Dolls wore less sexy outfits when they returned to the country for the 2008 MTV Asia Awards.
  • Breakup Breakout: With varying degrees of success.
    • Nicole Scherzinger has achieved some solo success throughout the UK and Europe, but hasn't released an album in four years.
    • Jessica Sutta also scored a number-one Billboard Dance hit with "Show Me", but neither of her albums charted.
    • Carmit Bachar has released a few singles, but her debut solo album seems stuck in Development Hell.
    • Melody Thornton has released a mixtape, and like Carmit, her debut solo album seems stuck in Development Hell. She would later participate in The Masked Singer in Australia (where she won) and The U.K.
    • Kimberly Wyatt formed a music group called "Her Majesty and the Wolves", but the group has been on hiatus since 2012.
    • Ashley Roberts is probably the most successful member as she managed to land success in the UK as a popular television personality and dance judge.
  • The Pete Best:
  • Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Following the release of Surviving R. Kelly, "Out of This Club", produced by the disgraced crooner, was removed from streaming services and digital stores, and the album was eventually re-released in April 2019 to remove the song.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • G.R.L. was going to be a new line-up of the group after Nicole's departure, but it was ultimately renamed and thus becoming the group's Spiritual Successor.
    • Carmen Electranote  was approached to be a member of the musical group, but declined due to scheduling conflicts. Rino Nakasone (choreographer for such groups as Girls' Generation) and Chelsea Korka (a fan favourite from "The Search For The Next Doll") were also supposed to be members, but wound up being cut.
    • will.i.am originally wrote "My Humps" for the group, but it was rejected in favor of "Beep". It instead became a single for The Black Eyed Peas.
    • A fashion doll line was announced by Hasbro based on the girl group, but parents and Media Watchdogs who aren't exactly pleased with the Dolls' raunchy image took umbrage and criticized the toy line, forcing Hasbro to cancel it.
