  • Subverted. Pretty Maids started out as the Danish equivalent of Mötley Crüe, and like many other 80's bands, they suffered greatly when Nirvana introduced the world to Grunge. This got so bad that the band almost disbanded in the mid-90s, leaving only Ronnie and Ken. They brought in some new people, reformed the band, released a bunch of albums that most people have never heard. Then, in 2014, they decided to celebrate their 30th anniversary by re-recording 8 of their favorite songs from the 90's and early 2000's. Not because they want to make the money. That comes from merch and tickets. They just wanted people to hear the songs that Grunge prevented them from hearing.
  • Ronnie has stated in an interview that the only thing he is ashamed of is that the band recorded one of their 90's albums while on a budget of exactly 5 liters of milk.
