Trivia / Pokémon World Tour: United

• Follow the Leader: Ask anyone else involved in a different Pokemon Actual Play podcast, and they'll point to World Tour United as their inspiration. Not that the creators mind, of course, as everyone still tells their own story and they're happy to introduce new people to the hobby.
• Reality Subtext: Jake and Scott in 024 (playing Rose and Rawley) continue their real-life Sibling Rivalry as their characters (despite the characters not being related).
• Word of Saint Paul: Shannon Manor, the show's official artist (and voice actor of Cira), makes short comics about adventures that happen outside of the podcast and posts them to her twitter. Some of these have passed into Word of God. Cira mentions the events stemming from the wishing well a few times, and the baker (Molly) ends up working at the Cerulean Gym. Rose later finds a picture depicting the comic where she and Cira saw a Roller Derby as children, but doesn't recognize Cira from so far in the past.
• Written-In Infirmity:
  • When Jake has to attend to personal matters, Rose goes on a trip to Unova with her sister Angelica during episode 66. She returns in the following episode.
  • Josh had a cold during Episode 69, so Cobalt is stated to have caught one himself while they camped out in the Seafoam Islands.
