- Milestone Celebration: The Golden King and Golden Queen in their respective Series 7 subseries were made to commemorate Playmobil's 40th anniversary.
- Prop Recycling: The very repetitive Series 12 features a Pizza Chef, Geisha, Blue Alien, EMT, Coal Miner, Firefighter, and Baker all based on or completely copying earlier series' figures. The Series 13 King is also a direct repeat of the Series 4 one.
