• Amateur Cast: A majority of the voice cast have virtually no other voice (or acting in general) credits to their names.
• Creator Killer: While PDD was a success, it was canceled in 2010 and Jumbo Pictures has gone dormant since. They made a block for PBS Kids Sprout called Musical Mornings with Coo in 2007, but that ended up failing due to low ratings.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes:
  • The show has only ever had a few DVD releases; even then, all but one of them ("Polka Dot Pox") were released exclusively in Latin America and are now out-of-print. Reruns of the show last aired in 2011 on Nick Jr. in mostly graveyard slots. When HBO signed a partnership deal with Sesame Workshop in 2015, HBO began airing reruns in 2016. However, after the deal was renewed in 2019 (with Sesame Street being renewed for five additional seasons), HBO pulled all reruns of the show in early 2021, and the show was similarly pulled from HBO Max.
  • The show was aired on CBeebies in the UK and was redubbed with British actors. However, only four episodes have been found so far.
• Screwed by the Network: Reruns on HBO stopped in early 2021, a year after the network renewed its deal with Sesame Workshop.
• Uncancelled: After the first season wrapped, the cast and crew moved on to different projects. When the second season was greenlit by both Noggin and BBC, the producers had to find a way to finance the new season and deliver the episodes on time. This led to Abrams-Gentile Entertainment and Keyframe Digital's involvement in the second season, which also led to the show switching from Adobe Flash to 3DS Max.
• Unspecified Role Credit: For Season 1, only Pinky's and Tyler's voice actors were credited traditionally, while the supporting characters only had the actors' names listed. In Season 2, the supporting characters were finally listed character and actor wise, but the new guest voice list shows only the actors' names.
