• Call-Back: The games Power-Pellets were called Power Cookies like in the early Japan days.
• Early Draft Tie-In: The game was made at the same time as the new TV show that was in early development at the time as seen below. The show wouldn't be released until 3 years later, which finalized the designs of Pac-Man and the Ghost Gang. Ultimately, the three non Pac-Worlders featured in this game^note Patra, Woofa, R.O.G.E.R were cut from the final product during development of the show.
• What Could Have Been:
  • This game was originally Pacman Carnival and it kept to the former design of the franchise. It was changed to Tie-in with the TV Show Namco was developing at that same time still in early development.
  • The ghosts had very different designs that were considered.
