• Acting for Two: In the English version, Dee Bradley Baker voices Heihachiro Honda and Gargant.
• Actor-Shared Background: As a teenager, Jean Reno left military service to settle in Paris, where he studied drama. His background as a Parisian soldier is mirrored in Jacques Blanc.
• Celebrity Voice Actor: Sort of, Jean Reno provided his likeness and French voice for the game but he was unable to record his lines in English because of his busy schedule.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Despite Jean Reno providing Jacques' likeness and French voice, Paul Mercier (who would go on to voice Leon Kennedy a few months later) serves as Jacques' English VA.
  • All returning characters from the first game have new English voice actors, such Samanosuke now being voiced by Robin Atkin Downes rather than Tig Fong.
• What Could Have Been: Capcom wanted to have Reno, who does speak English, to voice Jacques. This plan fell through however due to Reno not having enough time to do Jacques' English lines, so Paul Mercier replaced him.
