Trivia / On the Job

  • Acclaimed Flop: Despite being released to critical acclaim overseas, the film only earned ₱13.4 million at the box office, less than half of its ₱47 million budget. It's no wonder why Star Cinema initially had reservations on producing the film due its violent content, making it a niche title compared to their usual Romantic Comedy productions.
  • Deleted Scene: In one of the early cut, the film introduced Diana much earlier in a scene which misleadingly painted Daniel as a Stalker with a Crush, before it was revealed that they knew each other long before their meeting in the film.
  • California Doubling: A minor example. Architecture and heritage fans will notice that the Philippine Congress interior shots are actually filmed in the Manila City Hall lobby. (This is evident because the Real Life City Hall is neoclassical in design, whilst the real Senate and House of Representatives each use more contemporary buildings—they meet in separate offices.)
  • No Export for You: Averted. The film's debut in various film festivals is the reason why the movie has such good publicity that the show was released on demand and on DVD and Blu-Ray.
