Trivia / Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Lorne Lanning provides the voice of Stranger, Sekto, various Outlaws and Grubbs and the Olden Steef.
  • Acclaimed Flop: Despite having good reviews, the game fell victim to Invisible Advertising. As a result, it failed in sales, which made people blame the marketing and console exclusivity. While it sold 600,000 copies in 2012, one of the cast mentions that the game needed 1.6 million copies sold in order to break even.
  • Creator's Favorite: Stranger is without a doubt Lorne Lanning's favorite character to create and voice.
  • No Port For You: The game was initially released on 2005 for the Xbox console only, with an "Only on Xbox" tag. It was only from 2010 onwards that the game became officially ported to other platforms.
  • Port Overdosed: The game has been ported for 11 systems after the original release.
  • What Could Have Been: Shares a page with Oddworld.
  • Working Title: The first one was Oddworld: Steef's Oddysee. In the announcement trailer, it was simply called Oddworld: Stranger before finally settling for Stranger's Wrath.

Alternative Title(s): Strangers Wrath
