- Life Imitates Art: The series (which was in large part inspired by the Russo-Ukrainian crisis to begin with) appears particularly prescient following the Russian 2022 invasion of Ukraine proper, which mirrored the show in a plethora of ways, particularly in respects to Russian False Flag Operation attempts, the EU's and NATO's initial politics of appeasement, as well as Ukrainian president Zelensky cultivating a popular image not unlike the series' Berg.
