• Creator's Favorite: In Alter Ego #95, Roy Thomas cited Issue #7's "Stuporman" story as his favorite story he worked on for Not Brand Ecch.
• Follow the Leader: Not Brand Ecch was obviously inspired by the original MAD magazine.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The Not Brand Ecch series was never reprinted in its entirety prior to the announcement of a Marvel Masterworks reprint of all 13 issues in mid 2015. What The—? has yet to see any kind of reprint, unfortunately.
• Sequel Gap: Issue 13 was published in 1969, Issue 14 was published in Marvel Legacy in 2017. Even including its run as What The—?!, that's still a gap from 1969 to 1988, and another from 1993 to 2017.
