  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: While Kingdom Hearts III: Ground Zeroes and Kingdom Hearts III-2 may have been jokes in his 2014 April Fools video, Chris accurately predicted the existence of both Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- and Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind.
  • Creator Backlash:
    • To say Chris is not a fan of his early videos would be an understatement. He is quick to criticize most of the choices he made in those early videos and frequently makes fun of them and his past self for them in videos and on livestreams.
    • Chris was not happy with how he acted on his Bethesda E3 2017 reaction stream, to the point where he decided to delete the first half from Twitch.
  • Creator Breakdown:
    • During a livestream where he decided to play Kingdom Hearts III on Critical Mode, viewers commenting on the stream audio lead Chris to get quite upset and begin venting his frustrations. He quickly realized how he was acting and apologized before ending the stream and apologizing again on Twitter, where he also mentioned he was taking an indefinite hiatus from streaming.
    • Crosses over into Tear Jerker/Heartwarming territory: During an Animal Crossing: New Horizons livestream on March 31st, 2020 while drunk on vodka, Chris began to cry and talk about some of his anxieties regarding his content to his viewers. He used this time to give his sincere thanks to his viewers and friends as well as give himself a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech.
    • The exodus of professional Smash Bros. players due to sexual misconduct in July of 2020 made Chris decide to express his thoughts with the whole event during a livestream on July 2nd, 2020 where he expressed that he unfortunately felt unsurprised about the revelations at first before going into his disappointment and anger regarding them. Said segment was uploaded to YouTube a day later which can be seen here. The event also caused Chris to finally decide to completely rebrand himself in an attempt to disassociate with the Smash community.
  • Executive Meddling:
    • Chris stated that if given a choice, he would've done the Nutaku-sponsored video on HuniePop. Instead, Nutaku had Chris play the Android game Tits N Tanks, despite the fact that Chris did not own an Android device.
    • On a livestream, Chris revealed that a company had contacted him for a sponsorship involving tasting Japanese candies on the condition that whatever video he made on it had to be solely about the sponsorship itself. Because of this, Chris turned it down as he felt it did not fit the image he had built for his channel.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Chris has gone on several purges delisting/privatizing older videos of hisnote . While some of these videos are simply unlisted and can still be viewed, most of these videos have been privated and cannot be viewed unless someone has already downloaded them.
  • Milestone Celebration: Has had multiple videos celebrating a certain amount of subscribers:
    • Blooper Reel 2012 was his 1,000 subscriber special. It has since been removed.
    • He made a short video announcing his second channel as his 2,000 subscriber special. Just like the above, it has since been removed.
    • The Smash Masters of YouTube was his 5,000 subscriber special.
    • The long-anticipated Rosario+Vampire Capu 2 was released as his 10,000 subscriber special.
  • Missing Episode: Some of his earliest videos have been long removed, some of which can be viewed on his second channel, whereas others (including a video on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and a review of the first episode of High School Of The Dead) have been deleted with no archived downloads known to exist. Now has its own page.
  • One-Episode Wonder: The fate of both Pros+Cons and Fiddles.
  • Orphaned Reference:
    • The thumbnail to his now unlisted Blaz Blue Chrono Phantasma Adrenaline Shot appears briefly in his Smash Masters of Youtube video.
    • An annotation on his initial Rosario + Vampire video revealed that the "Quiet Off" bit was a throwback to a previous video he had made on My Little Pony that has long since been removed.
    • Chris talks about Persona 5 fanfiction in his Smash Ultimate Joker DLC review wearing the same outfit he once wore in his Smashing Fiction videos. He also appears in the same location that was seen in the quickly cancelled revival of said series.
    • In Top 10N Scary Moments In Video Games (As A Kid), Chris states that he still did not have Pokémon X and Y yet. This was a reference to his removed Most Anticipated Videos of 2013 video where he said he was excited for X and Y.
  • Schedule Slip: Chris constantly brings up the fact that his videos are typically weeks late.
    • He promised a half-hour long video on Kingdom Hearts during his reactions to the reveal of a Toy Story world in Kingdom Hearts III with the tentative release date of "definitely before KH3, that's for sure". On a livestream on August 25th, 2019, he mentioned that it will now come out sometime after the Re:MIND DLC releases. As of July 30th, 2020note , he has still yet to release the video.
    • Chris had planned to stream the first three Spyro the Dragon games to 100% Completion on June 29th, 2018 in celebration of Spyro Reignited Trilogy being announced. However, things kept getting in the way, causing it to be postponed to August of the same year, and then finally happening on September 22nd. Luckily for him, Reiginited Trilogy was postponed as well from September 21st, 2018 to November 13th, 2018, giving him enough time to stream the games before its release regardless.
  • Throw It In!: Towards the middle The Cat in the Hat, in reference to him stating the game provides at most 2 fun challenges Chris claims to have pulled the number from his "boothole" before he admits he was supposed to say "bootyhole."
