• Hey, It's That Sound!: The huge breath Fluttershy takes before her Flat Yay is Pinkie's big gasp from "Mare In the Moon" played backwards.
• The Pete Best: Newer fans of the show may be surprised at how different Spitfire's voice sounds here, since it's supplied by Nicole Oliver rather than her regular voice actress Kelly Metzger.
• When she suffers the aftereffects of her little taste of the rainbow concoction, Pinkie Pie's shriek sounds like Fluttershy. Not helped by the fact that they share a voice actress (nor by (1) the stock whinny or (2) the stock gallop).
  • When the Sonic Rainboom occurs, Fluttershy's exuberant response sounds like Pinkie Pie. So it went both ways.
• The opening scene, with the cheering attempt, inspired a number of reenactments; this is a live example.
