Trivia / Minecraft Dungeons

  • Dummied Out: Minecaft Dungeons has a lot of content like items, mobs, enchantments and even dungeons that got axed before the release of the game or DLCs in some cases.
    • There are some items in the game that were clearly removed from it before the release, such as the Blightbearer (a unique Harvester) and the Monkey Motivator (a unique pickaxe that would've come with the Jungle Awakens DLC).
    • The arcade version has content that goes unused in the home versions, like the Ender/Curious Armor (a unique Guard's Armor) and the Mage and Obsidian Monstrosity, who appear as bosses in Squid Coast and Obsidian Pinnacle, respectively. note
    • The base game has information for Andesite Hills and Slimy Sewers, two dungeons that can't be accessed in the base game. The Flames of the Nether DLC would come with two more unused areas, Netherwart Forest and Scorched Crags.
    • The Nether Warrior and End Rogue skins would have been available to players who bought the Flames of the Nether and Echoing Void DLCs respectively, but both were scrapped under the assumption both were made early in development and replaced with the updated skins in the DLCs' official releases. Strangely, the former was readded to the game some time afterwards, being listed as a base game skinnote .
  • What Could Have Been: The Tower Wraith would've had a green variant they could switch into for summoning poison clouds, but they use a pink variant instead in normal gameplay. This might have to do with consistency as green poison clouds can only be made by players while pink clouds are created by Witches.
