- Off-the-Shelf FX: Subverted? The scene on the beach features a child playing with toy versions of Godzilla and The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms. The latter, despite looking like a cheap toy, was anything but. It took the prop master a month to source it for the production, as it only existed as a rare collector's item.
- Viewers Are Geniuses: Hoo-boy, this film makes very little sense unless you have combed through the Viral Marketing and the ARG from the first two films.
