• Acting for Two:
  • The voice actresses of the Kawamoto sisters also provides the voices for the three cats of their residence, with Ai Kayano voicing the black and white cat, Kana Hanazawa voicing the black, white, orange cat and Misaki Kuno voicing the white cat.
    • The same can be said with their dub voices (Laura Post, Kayli Mills and Xanthe Huynh) as well.
  • In one of Rei's flashbacks of the third episode of the second season, Marina Inoue (who voices Kyouko) also voices Kyouko's little brother Ayumu.
• He Also Did: During 3gatsu's run, Chica Umino was invited to design Oberon Vortigern for Fate/Grand Order. He even makes a cameo appearance in volume 16 where Umino talks about the research she did in designing him, including asking the late Kentaro Miura for advice in drawing digitally and fantasy settings.
• Late Export for You: The manga started serialization in 2007, but wasn't licensed in North America until 2021. Averted with the anime, which was acquired by Aniplex USA and streamed by Crunchyroll the same year it debuted.
• Series Hiatus: Upon reaching Chapter 97 in September 2013, the series entered hiatus due to Umino's need for a hospital leave. The hiatus ended with the release of a new chapter in February 2014.
• Similarly Named Works: Sangatsu no Lion is also the name of a 1991 drama film. In the case of the movie, Lion is usually romanized as "raion."
