Trivia / Luz Clawthorne Two Worlds One Family Chapter 15

  • Word of God:
    • There's a lot more context that fits under Meaningful Name:
      • Hunter loses his friendship with Luz as well as Amity after revealing he's part of the Emperor's Coven.
      • Kikimora like in canon, believes that she deserves to be by Belos' side when her attempt to capture the Palismen herself ends in failure. She at least, however, deserved a good kicking.
      • Boscha didn't receive her own Palisman, Maya, like in canon. Zig-Zagged when she receives Athena's Palisman.
      • Boscha's transfer to Glandus may be considered this due to her reaction.
      • Lilith is told that she's still a controversial figure in Hexside due to the reveal of her deal with Amity. Subverted in a flashback when she gets to keep her Palisman thanks to the previous Golden Guard allowing her to do so.
    • Simon receiving Flint is based off the friendship between Kronk and Bucky the squirrel in The Emperor's New Groove.
    • The chapter's title is based on the phrase, "Deserving something, either when you earn the right but you lose it all." as shown in:
      • A flashback when Belos tells Hunter he earned the title of Golden Guard;
      • Lilith getting to keep her Palisman;
      • Athena's story about her descendants receiving their own Palismen after helping the carver's village out after the carver gives them food;
      • Skara getting to carve her own Palisman with her dad.
    • However, the rest of the chapter also shows how the acts of the characters, whether unintentional or not, result in feeling they don't deserve what they want: (Luz's friendship with the Bat Queen, Hunter's friendship with Luz and Amity) and those who felt they don't deserve something (Boscha going to Glandus, Luz not wanting to be near Palistrom wood nor Palismen).
