Trivia / Les Kassos

Go To

  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: The WALL-E parody is named "WALL-A", which is also the actual name of a kind of robots in the WALL-E movie. It's not intentional since the WALL-A from Les Kassos resembles WALL-E instead of the actual WALL-A robots from the movie.
  • Actor Allusion: Bapt, who voices the male Pink Roger who's embarrassed by his color, already played a similar role in a sketch of the Palmashow parodying Power Rangers.
  • Banned in China: The original French series on YouTube can't be viewed within Mexico and the United States. While one can reasonably attribute this to how all of the characters in the show are thinly-veiled parodies of copyrighted characters, in reality it's more so due to Canal+ properties being unviewable outside of Europe. There was an English dub entitled The Wakos... which was only available in America. It later got taken down for unknown reasons.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices:
    • The social worker is a woman voiced by Medi Sadoun, a man. This is only the case for the original French dub.
    • Starting from season 3, several young male characters are voiced by Brigitte Lecordier and Kaycie Chase.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The official English dub was taken down, so the only way to watch it is people reposting English episodes on the internet.
  • Two Voices, One Character: In season 1, the Canards Juniors (expies of Donald's nephews) are voiced by Thierry Simon, Sébastien Perez and Guillaume Darnault. In their season 5 comeback, they are voiced by Rachid Baha and Hector Arthur (Not-Dewey doesn't speak in his season 5 appearence).
