Trivia / Lamb of God

  • Artist Disillusionment: Part of why Chris Adler left. After having spent over two decades in the band that he started while in college that went from being a bunch of broke college kids doing weekenders to one of the biggest heavy acts in the world, he had come to realize that he had not been feeling Lamb of God for a while and had come to view it as a timecard to punch.
  • Banned in China: In 2013, the band was forbidden from playing any shows in Malaysia after a complaint was filed by the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development.
  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: A church used the band's logo on an Easter announcement, not realizing what kind of band this is.
  • Creative Differences: The other half of why Chris Adler quit, as he was not getting along with Randy, Mark, or John at all by the end and hated the constant tension it caused.
  • Creator Backlash:
    • Randy apparently hates "Black Label" and refuses to play it, and the only reason the band performed it in 2022 was because Joe Badolato was filling in for Randy, was a longtime fan who knew the song by heart, and begged for its inclusion.
    • Randy Blythe feels this way about appearing on the show Battle for Ozzfest, especially since his appearance was edited to make him out to look more of an asshole than he really is.
  • In Memoriam: The Duke EP is dedicated to a fan that had passed away from leukemia, complete with a charity event surrounding its release.
  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The 2010 anthology Hourglass comes in 5 versions: a 3-CD set, a US$100 set with all 6 studio albums on USB drives, a US$120 set with all 6 albums on vinyl, a US$260 set with the vinyl albums, USB drives, the 3-CD set, and an art book. And for the truly devoted insane, there's a US$1000 set with the vinyl albums, USB drives, 3-CD set, the art book, an autographed 8x10 picture, an "Hourglass" sticker, a 4-foot by 6-foot cloth flag...and a Jackson Signature Series Mark Morton guitar.
