It’s just... oh, God, it’s awful.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Given that the show was basically made of 80s pop songs (sometimes even including the original music videos), trying to straighten out the rights issues means this has no chance of being released on DVD, at least in the near future.
- He Also Did: This was Robbie Rist's first major project following his turn as Cousin Oliver during the tail end of The Brady Bunch.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: In addition to the above reason, the show's rights are tied up between Wildbrain and Disney.
- Uncredited Role: While Season 1 was a co-production with Cuckoo's Nest Studios, none of the Japanese studios involved with Season 2 outside of some of the animation shooting facilities were given a credit.
