• Acting for Two:
  • Besides reprising his role as Kermit the Frog, Steve Whitmire performs Jack and Chico the Frog.
  • Joseph Mazzarino plays Goggles, the first turtle, and Pearl the Pika
  • Cree Summer voices Kermit's mother, his star, and Pilgrim the dog.
  • Bill Barretta plays Croaker, Horace D'Fly, Roy the Frog, the second turtle and a dog.
  • Alice Dinnean performs Vicki, Kermit's mother, Pilgrim the dog and Ernie.
  • John Kennedy plays Arnie the Alligator, Blotch, and the monkey.
• California Doubling: The Mississippi swamp scenes were actually shot in the Florida Everglades, near Naples.
• Kids' Meal Toy: Dairy Queen had a tie-in with the film. Among the toys sold were Kermit playing his banjo on a rolling log, a Kermit and Croaker cannonballer, and Kermit sprawled on a lily pad.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: Sony still owns the rights to this movie along with Muppets from Space and The Muppets Take Manhattan despite Disney having purchased the franchise back in 2004; and it's unlikely these three will be handed back over from Sony any time soon.
