- Port Overdosed: The second game was ported on practically every computer, handheld & home console since, from the PlayStation & Game Boy Advance to the PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch respectively. However, it is not on available on any Xbox console.
- What Could Have Been:
- An official fourth game was actually planned shortly after James Pond 3, and was intended to have Fangs the Vampire Fish (an enemy from the first two games) as the antagonist, but it was canned.
- The 2013 Kickstarter attempted to get a fourth game off the ground again; this time it was going to be a sequel about Dr. Maybe taking over Santa's abandoned castle, and James Pond himself would be older. It was cancelled due to a lack of funding shortly before the kickstarter ended, but Gameware Europe stated they were hoping to restart it again.
- James Pond 3 was originally going to have a moon gravity
feature where Pond would hit a flag and jump higher and fall slower.
