- Completely Different Title: The movie received the infamous Deu A Louca treatment in Brazil, being released under the name Deu A Louca Nos Nazis (The Nazis' Gone Crazy).
- Fake American: The Palin-esque U.S. President and her assistant are played by Stephanie Paul (a Kiwi) and Peta Sergeant (an Australian) respectively.
- Fake Nationality: Averted, all of the main German characters in the film are played by real Germans.
- Missing Trailer Scene: Kortzfleisch playing with his models, among others.
- Offending the Creator's Own: The director is Finnish and the film is co-produced by a Finnish company. In the film, Finland meekly admits that they were the only country who didn't think to arm their spaceship. Fittingly, Finland didn't fight Nazi Germany during World War II either, co-belligerents with them (against the Soviets).
- Promoted Fanboy: 10% of the movie's budget was funded by fan donations, and these fans are rewarded with mentions in the end credits.
