- Creator-Driven Successor: A few months after new episodes were suspended due to COVID-19, a similar streaming anthology series, Welcome to the Blumhouse, made its debut on Prime Video. The new series is essentially Into the Dark without the loose holiday theming, right down to the same studio being behind it.
