- Fake Nationality: Canadian actress Meghan Ory plays American Riley Neal, Australian actress Faye Kingslee plays Mei Chen, a Chinese secret agent (though Kingslee is half-Chinese), while Korean-American actor Will Yun Lee plays the Chinese Jin Cong.
- Out of Order: CBS reshuffled the episodes out of production order; with the episodes largely being self-contained this wasn't too noticeable but does cause problems with the apparently very swift resolution of the mystery of Amelia's apparent defection.
- Prop Recycling: The patches seen on the uniforms of prison guards in "Patient Zero" resembles the design used for the patches of Gotham Police Department officers in the Nolan-based Batman movies.
