• Disabled Character, Disabled Actor: Not Murphy, but Detective Dean's blind daughter is played by blind actress Calle Walton. According to the show's blind consultant, they had auditions with blind actors to play Murphy, but ultimately went with a sighted one because if they had used an actual guide dog, the acting process would have confused the dog completely.
