- The apparently 15-year-old Nina is played by Wendy Calio, who was in her early thirties at the time the show began.
- Princess Dee, who's only slightly older than Nina, is played by Tania Gunadi, who was 28 at the time.
- Dueling Works:
- With The Wiggles' TV series, another show about a children's band which aired on Playhouse Disney before Imagination Movers did. After Imagination Movers premiered, The Wiggles moved to Sprout.
- A year after the Imagination Movers series premiered, Nickelodeon came out with their own children's band show in the form of The Fresh Beat Band. While the Movers are still sporadically making music, the Fresh Beats stopped making music after their show was cancelled.
