For the film:

• Inspiration for the Work: Creator Couple Ken Kwapis and Marisa Silver were at a restaurant and their dinner companion asked them how they met. In recounting the story, Kwapis and Silver realized that their memories of the incident differed, and this led them to conceive an entire film that juggles two different viewpoints.

For the Game Show:

• Keep Circulating the Tapes: GSN has aired relatively few episodes of the series, including the pilot. Also available are an early episode (monochrome) and two color episodes (plus an opening) from after the aforementioned trio of changes.
