- Acting for Two: Carol Burnett voiced Peter's Mother (Mrs. Rabbit aka "Mrs. Josephine Rabbit") and Mr. Mcgregor's white cat in the same special. Same goes for the voice actress of Mopsy, Flopsy, and Cottontail who provide the voices of birds and hawks.
- Adored by the Network: HBO Family loves airing this show despite wrapping up in 1998. This show alongside Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales For Every Child, Crash Box, A Little Curious, and the 1999 TV Movie The Sissy Duckling are the only shows from the late 80s, late 90s, and early 2000s that's able to air as reruns which is rare for other children's networks.
- Celebrity Voice Actor: Carol Burnett is the narrator for Peter Rabbit. She also voices Mrs. Rabbit (Peter Rabbit's mother) and Mr. McGregor's cat.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: There's no way to watch this series, other than streaming it on Amazon, HBO Max, or Hulu. The soundtrack doesn't seem to be around somewhere either.
- Self-Adaptation: Judith Viorist, author of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, wrote the screenplay and lyrics to the 1990 episode that adapted the story.
